At the Cross

all you who are weary,
downtrodden,
and brokenhearted,
lay your burdens
at the foot of the cross.

for he cares for you,
and will help shoulder your burdens.

if you are lost,
frightened and alone,
he will help you find the way.

so lay your cares,
your burdens,
at the cross.

for at the foot of the cross lies your salvation,
so abandon yourself
and follow him.
