Thank you, God, for all my friends.
I’m sure that your love never ends.
Thank you for the moon that glows,
And the river, as it flows.
Thank you, God, that you love me,
All the flowers, birds, and trees.
Thank you for food and tasty treats,
And the people that I meet.
Thank you, God, for each day.
Thank you for the time to play.
Thank you for the joy you bring.
Thank you, Lord, for everything!
About the Poet
Fiona Halliday is an elementary school teacher in the UK. She has been a Christian since she was 8 years old. A mother to two teenagers, Fiona enjoys sharing time with her family, reading, writing, and playing her flute.
