
Turtle Crossing

Vibrations scare me.
You’re slower than molasses.
Lawnmower must yield.
Just let me help you.
I’m going to wait in here.
There, all better now.
Sun is setting soon.
Green stalks lie scattered in lawn.
I’ll look one more time.
Did you make it home?
You’re faster than you let on.
Turtles like my yard.
