Welcome to the 10th ISSUE of Pure in Heart! I can’t think of a better way to head into Thanksgiving and the Christmas season than to reflect on how grateful I am to God and His people for 10 issues of this wonderful, little magazine. We’ve come a long way, and we can’t wait to see what the future brings!
In our newest issue, you’ll find fun poems about goofy grandpas, stories about doing the right thing (even when it’s hard), writing and art that explores the beauty of God’s creations, adventures, exciting battles with an ugly, ginormous creature called a Scargix, and tests of faith. You’ll find serious reflections, and gratitude for God’s blessings. You’ll find Bible stories creatively retold, and praise and awe of Jesus. We also have a new recipe for you that doesn’t require any cooking or baking (you give it as a gift instead!).
As you read the work of these wonderful artists and writers of all ages, we hope more than anything that our 10th issue reminds you of the Lord Jesus, who came to this Earth to die for our sins and bring us into a right relationship with God. He is the ultimate gift and sacrifice, one that we can only gratefully receive with the surrender of our hearts.
We hope you enjoy reading this issue as much as we enjoyed putting it together, and that it opens your eyes and heart to the wonderful God who loves you.
